TENNIS ETIQUETTES, RULES & POLICIES
MEMBERS: Must pay all club dues and be in good standing.
DRESS CODE & FOOTWEAR: Proper tennis attire (50% white) and smooth-soled tennis shoes must be worn on court. Hiking, running/jogging, and fitness shoes are not suitable for our Har-Tru tennis courts and will not be permitted.
GUESTS: We invite guests to come out and enjoy our beautiful facilities. Guests must register with the Club Manager and pay a $20 guest fee for adults and a $10 guest fee for juniors (U18). All guests must be accompanied by a member.
Guests are restricted to 4 visits per year.
CLUB HOUSE HOURS: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm. Weekends 8am-5pm.
CONDUCT/BEHAVIOUR: All members and guests must conduct themselves in a polite, courteous, and respectful manner when dealing with other members and club staff.
Loud or offensive language will not be tolerated.
Do not walk behind a court while a rally is in progress.
Please move quickly past an active court when a pause in play occurs.
Retrieve balls from other courts during stoppages of play.
Use alcohol responsibly.
Keep the Club property and courts free of litter. Recycling is not available on site. Please help to do your part.
Please ensure that the gates are locked if you are the last to leave the courts.
SPEED LIMIT: Please respect the posted speed limit signs of 20km when entering the club property. This speed limit has been established to provide a safe environment for the safety of club members, staff, cyclists, hikers, children and dogs.
COURT MAINTENANCE: Courts are closed daily from 12noon – 2pm
When the “Court Closed for Maintenance” sign is posted – no play is permitted without authorization from the Club Manager.
*As a courtesy to other players, members are encouraged to groom the court at the end of their court time.*
COURT RESERVATIONS & PROCEDURES:
Members can reserve court time online, by email (firstname.lastname@example.org), telephone (705-444-9217) or in person.
Please identify ALL players by first and last name.
When you arrive, present your member badge and check in with the manager and/or view the posted daily court reservation sheet for your court assignment. Members will need badges to gain court access.
Pre-Booking Rules: each group (of 2 or 4) is permitted to reserve a regular time Monday - Friday throughout the season (excluding Holidays). Courts are booked for a maximum of 1.5 hours and groups can pre-book twice weekly. We will do our best to accomodate your request. Flexibility will be required periodically as courts are reserved for House Leagues, Camps, Special Events, Socials, Club Championships, etc.

Reserving courts for other days and times (including weekends and Holidays) can be made 72hrs in advance.
If members have played for 1.5 hours you cannot book for an additional court time immediately following your game OR join another group, unless there is an OPEN court.
Courts reservations not claimed 10 minutes into the next hour may be offered to waiting members or those on a waiting list.
The Summer Program Manager reserves the right to limit court access to ensure fair and equitable usage of the courts for ALL members.
Any infractions of Club rules will result in a warning and/or suspension of privileges at the discretion of Club management.
