We invite you to take a walk through our winter wonderland. Craigleith Ski Club offers our Members and guests the opportunity to try out the exceptional snowshoe trails that surround the property. Snowshoeing has become a tremendously popular winter sport with all outdoors enthusiasts.

Complimentary snowshoe trail maps are available at the Front Desk now located in the Base Lodge.

Snowshoes are available to rent from our on-site rental facility, Squire John’s.

Snowshoe trails are not patrolled.
Use at your own risk.

For your safety please be sure to follow these rules:

• Snowshoeing is permitted on designated routes and on the north side of lower Bowie.
• Northwest Passage, Backstairs and Venture ARE NOT snowshoe trails
• Crossing Comet is a required access route
• When crossing Comet be sure the way is clear before proceeding
• Cross as quickly as you can
• Always look uphill while crossing to identify oncoming skiers
• Oncoming skiers have the right of way
• Keep your dog on a leash. Please pick up after your dog.

Always try to snowshoe with a partner or let someone know where you are going if you go alone. Take a cell phone or walkie-talkie with you. Stay on the established routes unless you are an experienced snowshoer. Please respect the property we access. Craigleith Ski Club does not own all of the property that is shown on the snowshoe trail map.
