Craigleith Ski Club is thrilled to host the 2019  Canadian Snowshoe Championships. While there will be racers competing for the fastest time we encourage everyone to participate. It is all about having a good time and getting out with friends and family, in a open environment with all skill levels welcome.
The course is a mixture of moderate uphill climbs, and rolling terrain, on well tracked trails. Both the 5K and the 10K begin with a challenging uphill section from the North Lodge to the top of the Niagara Escarpment. At a strong walking pace without stopping, the 5K course can be completed in just under 1 hour, and the 10K course in just over 2 hours.

Yaktrax are allowed BUT you will not be eligible for Snowshoe Canada championship prizes or Ontario Cup points unless race organizers decide snowshoes are not necessary due to lack of snow on race day.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with the event, if interested please email
